IT'S ELECTRIC

It's always fun stumbling upon new lines that aren't quite mainstream just yet.  Although Electric Feathers first launched in Spring 2011, its name hasn't circulated too much on fashion pages or editorials.  But I feel that will soon change.  For the fall collection, designer Leana Zuniga was inspired by Yohji Yamamoto's designs from the 80's and Isadora Duncan. Both Yamamoto and Duncan's influence can be seen in shape and lightness, which together create a beautiful collection. And with a boutique that just opened in Brooklyn, it will be a household name in no time.
