TO MARKET

Not many people I know do their grocery shopping in head to toe Chanel.  But for F/W 14, Karl Lagerfeld, the crazy fashion magician that he is, decided that's exactly what his models would do. Lagerfeld transformed the Grand Palais into a massive supermarket equipped with crackers, green beans and risotto bearing the CC logo.  It seems there wasn't a single detail that was missed, notice the wire shopping baskets covered in Chanel's signature chain-strap, so very clever.  Regardless of its wearability to peruse the produce aisles, the collection itself is really beautiful.  The colors, prints and all of that classic Chanel tweed... Now I'm inspired for a trip to Whole Foods.
