For the Parisian finale of Fashion Week, designers certainly pulled out all the stops. But the ladies (and gentlemen) roaming the Grand Palais, the Jardin de Palais Royal or the Tuileries made quite a statement as well. Of all the cities, I had a particular fondness for the collections shown in Paris. Maybe because of my love for that city or perhaps it was Karl Lagerfeld's ode to sophisticated punk at Chanel, but the Paris shows definitely resonated the strongest. From Nina Ricci's romantic collection set to Philip Glass to Isabel Marant's take on the Parisienne rocker, the French define a certain style like no other. Right now my mind is currently on spring, but thankfully fall is looking very chic.
