MIRACLE IN MILAN

 

 

 

While there may not have been an actual miracle happening at Fashion Week (though an incredible movie from the 50's definitely worth a watch), I feel as though there was some divine influence happening on all fronts.  Neither rain nor snow kept the fashion elite from the shows this season, and it certainly did little to deter their sense of style.

 

Umbrellas can make a chic statement, especially when they arrive in plaids and cheeky prints.  And the actual runway shows were quite heavenly as well.  Dolce & Gabbana's lavish collection inspired by Venetian mosaics located inside of a 12th century cathedral in Sicily was breathtaking.  Crowned head pieces might just make a comeback.
