For someone who really doesn't cook very often (okay, really not at all), I seem to have a growing collection of cookbooks that increases every year. And while my intentions are good, they're mostly used for either the occasional appetizer I may want to contribute, or for new beverage ideas because I've grown bored with my nightly glass of wine. I absolutely love looking at recipes and often think to myself "oh now that I could do, I should make that for..." But I didn't and I haven't.
This cookbook, however, could reveal a breakthrough. And with Thanksgiving right around the corner, I may be inspired to give cooking another shot. Katie Quinn Davies has turned her amazing food and lifestyle blog into a best-selling cookbook, and the photography alone should make you want to pick up a copy. After spending years as an art director in Ireland, Australia and the US, Davies began her extremely popular blog of the same name which took off with a little help from another lifestyle blog and her extensive commercial and editorial work. With over one hundred recipes and tips to use in the four walls of your kitchen, Davies beautifully showcases her culinary and photography skills in a deliciously captivating way.
