There will always be the constant dispute of real versus fake.  Anything from your hair, to your bag, to maybe even the absence of a line on your face.  But in this case, real being the actual clothes on your back.  Some have no qualms about wearing fur, real or fake, it's all the same.  Others wouldn't dare, it's inhumane and the epitome of distaste.

 

Well, to the latter set I cannot agree.  I understand the setbacks, but there's something about this time of year and the lush fabrics that just go hand-in-hand.  And while I prefer to go faux, I can appreciate a vintage pelt (note: VINTAGE) as much as the next guy.  And from viewing the photos above, you can clearly see why.  I love the juxtaposition of fur with simple, feminine pieces.  It's the perfect fall/winter ensemble, and it's a piece no one should be without.  So go real or go fake, but take a cue from these clever designers (The Row and Vionnet are especially chic) and add a little fluff.  A little bit never hurt...
