If there was ever any doubt that Alexander Wang may not have been the best choice to take over the helm at Balenciaga, his latest Resort 2014 collection should put that thought to rest. Wang moved in as Creative Director of the storied fashion house in 2012 and debuted his first collection for Fall 2013 in February, to many who were waiting with baited breath. The support (and outcome) was certainly favorable and his momentum doesn't seem to be slowing down. While I'm not one to always watch the Resort collections too closely, this one made me take a second look.
