Spending time as a personal shopper myself, I know how hard it can be to step back and evaluate your own style. It takes time, energy and a discerning eye. But more than anything, it requires patience and a willingness to try something new. A no holds barred attitude that might be a bit intimidating at first, but once you make a break through its like a long awaited light has finally gone off.
One of my favorite aspects of the job is that exact moment, when there is the realization that yes, you can wear that with this and mix this with the other and it will not only work, but you will look fabulous in the process. Feyt, created by friends Eleanor Ylvisaker and Ferebee Taube, serves as personal styling and shopping destination. The idea is to cut out the legwork and let these ladies do the searching for you. They ask the question, "What if you could walk into your favorite store and see only the merchandise you know you like?" I don't know many women who wouldn't sign up for that...
